Horses bred and trained at Starwood have competed successfully in a variety of fields. Many awards have been gained for halter, ridden (English & Western events) jumping, sporting, and harness.
* Four Australian National Arabian Awards * Five Arabian Roll of Merit awards * Seven Horse of the Year awards. * Over 40 State Champion/Reserve * Regional championships
This is a remarkable achievement considering that all of these awards have been gained whilst exclusively trained, ridden and driven by their amateur owner.
Starwood horses are also competitive in the endurance field, with several horses being sold to the UAE for this purpose.
